TERMS OF SERVICE
HANOISON
Effective Date: 1 January 2026
Last Updated: 1 January 2026

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of hanoison.com and your purchase of HANOISON products through the Website. By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Hearfox LTD is registered in England and Wales under company number 16653766. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. In these Terms, "HANOISON", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Hearfox LTD trading as HANOISON.

These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Shipping Policy, Returns and Refund Policy, and Warranty Policy.

2. Who may order

By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a contract, that the information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you will use the Website only for lawful purposes.

3. Our products

Every HANOISON timepiece is handcrafted to order. Natural variation is part of the product: hand-engraved dials, hand-stitched straps, and hand-finished presentation boxes will not be identical from one piece to another. These variations are not defects.

We describe products, materials, prices, colours, and specifications as accurately as we can. Colours may appear differently depending on your screen. We do not intentionally substitute materials or key specifications without your consent.

Prices are shown at checkout in the selected currency. For customers in the United Kingdom and the European Union, the checkout price is intended to include VAT and applicable import charges where we ship on a delivered duty paid basis. For customers elsewhere, local taxes, duties, and import charges may be payable separately, as explained in our Shipping Policy.

4. Orders and contract formation

Submitting an order is your offer to buy. The first email you receive confirms that we have received the order. The contract is formed when we send the production confirmation email, normally within two business days.

If you need to cancel before production begins, contact support@hanoison.com as soon as possible. Once production has started, cancellation may be limited or may involve a charge reflecting materials and labour already committed to your order. Statutory cancellation rights for eligible consumers are explained in our Returns and Refund Policy.

5. When we may decline or cancel an order

We may decline or cancel an order if payment is not authorised, information is inaccurate or incomplete, we suspect fraud, there is an obvious pricing or product error, the order appears intended for unauthorised resale, or fulfilment would breach sanctions, export controls, or applicable law. If we cancel for one of these reasons after payment, we refund the amount paid for the affected order.

6. Personal use and resale

HANOISON products are sold for personal use by end customers. We do not accept bulk orders intended for unauthorised resale. If you are interested in a genuine business partnership, corporate gifting, or hospitality order, contact info@hanoison.com.

7. Payment

Payments are handled by independent payment providers. Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may include major cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Klarna, or other payment options depending on your location.

Your transaction currency is set at checkout. Any foreign exchange fee, card issuer fee, bank fee, or instalment provider charge is your responsibility unless the checkout page states otherwise. Production begins only after payment has been received and cleared.

8. Shipping, delivery, returns, and warranty

Shipping and delivery are governed by our Shipping Policy. Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns and Refund Policy. Warranty service is governed by our Warranty Policy. These policies do not remove statutory rights that apply to consumers.

9. Intellectual property

The Website, brand name, logo, photography, product text, design content, dial artwork, engraving designs, and other HANOISON materials belong to us or our licensors. You may use the Website for ordinary browsing, account use, and ordering. Any copying, commercial use, automated extraction, redistribution, or use of our brand in a way that suggests a false relationship requires our written consent.

If you send us reviews, photographs, feedback, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to send it. You allow us to use that content for customer service, product improvement, marketing, social proof, or business purposes, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

10. Acceptable use

Do not use the Website unlawfully, interfere with its operation, try to gain unauthorised access to systems, use automated tools without our written consent, submit false information, or misuse customer account features. If you create an account, keep your login details secure and contact support@hanoison.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

11. Sanctions and export controls

We do not accept orders where fulfilment would breach sanctions, export controls, carrier restrictions, or applicable law. You are responsible for complying with import laws and local rules in the destination country.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or rights that apply to you as a consumer.

Subject to the paragraph above, our liability connected with an order is limited to the purchase price paid for the affected product. We are not responsible for indirect, consequential, or special loss, including loss of profit, business opportunity, revenue, or data, where the law allows this limit.

13. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. This includes transport disruption, customs delay, border restrictions, government action, sanctions, labour disruption, material shortages, severe weather, cyber incidents, platform outages, or public health events. If such an event materially delays your order, we will update you and explain your options.

14. Data protection

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data and cookies. They form part of the Website terms that apply when you use the Website or place an order.

15. If something goes wrong

If a problem arises, contact support@hanoison.com first. We will try to resolve the issue directly and in good faith.

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence. Consumers in the United Kingdom or European Union keep any mandatory rights to bring claims in their local courts where applicable law provides that right.

16. General terms

These Terms and the policies referenced in them form the agreement between you and us for Website use and purchases. If part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a term once does not prevent us from enforcing it later.

We may transfer our rights and obligations to a successor if our business is reorganised, sold, merged, or transferred. You may not transfer your rights or obligations without our written consent.
